Kindergarten Children at the Mid-Autumn Festival

Many activities brought joy to the Kindergarten children for the Mid-Autumn Festival. During the week, children made coloured lanterns and made moon cake – some to eat and some to take home. On Thursday, each class sang and danced beautifully at the assembly and the children looked lovely in their beautiful clothes. Some boys dressed in their lion costumes and danced to entertain the parents and other children. Ms Lien (Moon fairy) and Ms Linh (Cuoi) compered the assembly and gave prizes to the children who could answer questions about the festival. Ms Melissa and shadow puppets told the story of Cuoi and the Moon to explain this Vietnamese tradition.
