Our end of year concerts were times of great celebration which brought great joy to all who came to watch. Students presented items and videos they had made based on the environmental topic Planet Earth. Students and teachers rehearsed a lot to make a spectacular show for a packed theatre.
The Primary and Secondary celebration began with Academic, Sporting and Citizenship Awards. “Saving” the world was the message that students wanted to present throughout the concert in many creative ways. Year 7L showed their Recycling Project which won an IMPACT Award in the international Global Leaders competition and Y8L took the opportunity to promote their initiative Bye Bye Plastic Bags. The “green” theme finished with a moving performance of “Heal the World” from the massed choir.
