The last day of term one was the culmination of learning for Kindergarten classes about International Week. Students learned more about their own culture and the culture of others – one of our schoolwide learner goals. The Multicultural Day Assembly was a wonderful success with many parents attending to watch the children sing and dance. It began with a beautiful traditional Vietnamese dance by Nguyen Hoang Ha. This year the rest of the school was involved as teachers were able to invite the Kindergarten children into their classes to show off their national costumes and flags and to sing the songs they had been rehearsing.
