Bye Bye Plastic Bag (BBPB) is a student group that was formed over five years ago at SIS @ Danang. The group’s goal is to raise awareness about plastic pollution and find ways to reduce plastic use and stop plastic from reaching landfills.
BBPB team members have been working hard in the school to start plastic recycling projects and other activities to raise fund. This year, 15 million VND of the profit will go to Not Just Group Hoi An to implement for the sake of health safety of the unofficial trash collectors called “Ve Chai”, such as medical insurance gifting, protection equipment giving, etc. And the rest will be donated to Not Just Group Hoi An to continue supporting environmental initiatives in and around Danang and Hoi An. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
The upcoming event at 5:00pm this Friday at SIS @ Danang is an important milestone to celebrate their fundraising success. This charity event is for all the students from Year 6 to Year 12. Let’s enjoy the acoustic show, say “NO” to plastic and save the world together! 🤗🤗🤗
